  1. Diploma-  This level of education focuses on mastering students’ technical skills for use in a variety of business settings. It prepares you for a career in an industrial, professional entrepreneurial career. 

Length of the course: 1 to 2 years of full-time study.

  1. Advanced Diploma- It gives you a specialized range of skills in IT, architecture, engineering, accounting, and management.

Length of the course: 1.5 to 2 years of full-time study.

  1. Vocational graduate certificate/diploma- This level of education equips you with a wide range of skills and knowledge that can help you find work. These graduates have a diverse set of communication and technological abilities.

Length of the course: 6 months to 1 year of full-time study.

  1. English Language Courses- A few VETs also have the expertise to improve English language proficiency.

Length of the course: 4 to 48 weeks.

Entry Requirements

  1. Have a valid passport.
  2. In some schools, an IELTS certificate is required with a minimum score of 5.0 or equivalents of PTE or TOEFL.
  3. Have to complete a degree of Australian year 10,12 or 12(minimum).

Average Tuition Fees

The fees on VET courses in Australia mainly depend on the course you select, as well as the city and school you attend. However, the average annual tuition fee ranges from AUD 4,000 to AUD 22,000 including training materials. 

Fees for higher-level vocational classes, such as graduate certificates and diplomas, can be higher.
