This visa allows you to enter Australia to visit your family, or as a tourist, or for business purposes for up to 3, 6 or 12 months. You should represent as a genuine visitor on your documents and have sufficient funds for your stay and leave. Applying for this visa will cost you AUD365. The processing time usually takes around 4 to 8 months.
If you are holding ETA Visa(subclass 601) and the visa is going to expire you can extend the visa by applying for a Visitor visa (subclass 600). However, an eVisitors (subclass 651) visa cannot be extended.
