The Australian government provides a range of scholarships to international students who wish to study in Australia. The scholarships are mostly based on individual’s academic merits.

Australia Awards Scholarships

This program is obtained by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFAT), the Department of Educations and the Australian Centre for International Agriculture Research (ACIAR). The Australia Awards Scholarships mainly focuses on students from developing countries specific from the Indo-Pacific region. In general, the scholarship includes full tuition fees, allowance, Overseas, Student Health Cover (OSHC), etc.

Provider Scholarships

This scholarship is based on the academic merits of the student. You need to consult the admissions or international office before applying for the scholarships.

Destination Australia

Destination Australia Scholarship (DAP) is also one of the ways to give funding to international students. This program was first announced on 20th March 2019 as a part of the Australian Government’s Planning for Australia’s Future Population. Destination Australia Scholarship plans to support remote and regional Australian tertiary schooling providers by elevation practices that lead to growth, development and sustainability. They will help Australian and international students to embrace high-quality education, training and research.

Australia APEC Women in Research Fellowship

The program gives an opportunity for female researchers from APEC economies that are associated with Australian education and research institutions. They support economic empowerment for women in the APEC region. The motive of this scholarship is to involve as many as a female role model in science technology, engineering and mathematics
