The average wage for Cook is $57,250 a year in Australia or $29.36 per hour. For beginners, the salary starts at $48,757 annually, while most seasoned employees earn up to $68,250 annually. For the chefs, weekly full-time earnings are on average $1250 while for other jobs the salary is $1460.

You will be expected to get Provisional Skills Assessment (PSA) from Trade Recognition Australia (TRA). Gradually, you need to enrol in Job Ready Program (JRP), Job Ready Employment (JRE), Job Ready Work Assessment (JRWA) and Job Ready Final Assessment (JRFA) respectively.
