A positive skills assessment from the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) is required for a Bachelor or Master of Social work graduate to apply for permanent residency.

It is estimated to be openings for 23,000 jobs for over 5 years meaning 4,600 a year. Full-time workers earn around $1,829 per week.
